What we watched from PVR - Happy Endings, Desperate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters, Mad Love, Glee, Raising Hope
What we watched "live" - Nothing
What we PVR'd for later - Fringe

Thoughts:

Happy Endings: I'm really digging this show, the characters are great and the relationships are so bizarre.  All three girls were playing beards, and the gay guy instead outed his friend!

Desperate Housewives: I don't get Tom and Lynette's relationship at all.  Tom is toast of the town after being unemployed for years, owning a pizza place, and Lynette has dropped off the chart after being on top.  The Brie and Gaby scenes were funny, and the Susan wet naps were gross.

Brothers & Sisters: Kudos to the actors that play Scotty and Kevin.  Talk about a tough situation.  And why did she bring the baby to Justin?  They find out Brody is Sarah's father.  This show should get very interesting this week!

Mad Love: This show has almost hit the wall.  The skipping work thing, and flubbing on the speech almost ended badly, and the implied sexual tension needs to be brought out more.

Glee: 90 minutes to let us all know that Kurt is back at McKinley, but it was great to see Mike O'Malley back as Kurt's dad.  The Warblers send off was weak, but, Born This Way with the T-shirts was well done.  Now if Shu would make the move on Emma...hey, no Sue this week?

Raising Hope:  Sleep training for Hope, and the hot new girl bares all.  Jimmy dumps her of course.  Well, they weren't even dating, so that's over.

What we watched from PVR - Fringe, Bones, Body of Proof
What we watched "live" - Nothing
What we PVR'd for later - Big Bang Theory, Rules of Engagement, Bones, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice

Thoughts:

Fringe: Great episode, both universes.  Other-Liv is trying to come back here.  Peter is trying to stop the machine, and gets blown off the platform, brain trauma!  Bowling alley dude is back, and being all cryptic an shit.  The upcoming finale is going to be great, who will die?

Bones: Preview episode of the Finder.  I think I will like that show when it comes on.  MCD has been a fave of mine for a long time anyway.  Wally telling Ange that she's an 11, and asking Hodgins if he is rich because he's a 7.  Classic!

Body of Proof: The twins with the heart conditions, and the cocky doctor.  The twins story line was the better part of this show, as the corrupt medical professional with the vendetta against the frat president who caused her son to OD, was just too overdone.

Tonight, we hope to get the PVR % back below 30% at least!!

What we watched from PVR - Nothing
What we watched "live" - Bruins Habs Game 7
What we PVR'd for later - Survivor, Cougar Town, Happy Endings

Thoughts:

Da Game: Well, now I can make it though the playoffs, winning the Cup is icing on this cake.  Go Bruins!  You almost blew it, but Horton Heard a Who, and scored!

What we watched from PVR - Nothing
What we watched "live" - Bruins Habs Game 6
What we PVR'd for later - Glee, Raising Hope, Body of Proof

Thoughts:

Bruins-Habs: Bruins tried everything to win, but 5-0n-3's are hard to kill off.  The Lucic penalty was almost a mirror image to the Briere hit in the other game, except Lucic is about 6 inches taller and 50 pounds heavier.  Anyway, proud of the b'ys, and will have to PVR Survivor for probably the first time ever tonight for Game 7!!

Monday, April 25th

What we watched from PVR - Hawaii 5-0, Parenthood
What we watched "live" - Nothing
What we PVR'd for later - Mad Love

Thoughts:

H5-0: Puff Daddy, don't like him as an actor, barely tolerated him as a singer/rapper.  I'm guessing we see more of him and Keith David, though.  Little tidbit of the pictures dropped off relating to Steve's Dad.  Can't be many more episodes left until the finale?

Parenthood:  The finale.  The play goes ahead (awful quick from write to produce, wha?).  Amber realizes she has issues.  Zeke with the junkyard visit drove that home for her.  Adam gets fired, then finds out they are pregnant.  Crosby gets Jazz to sit and talk in the house.  Christina's baby clock starts up again..

Monday 25 April 2011

Sunday, April 24th

What we watched from PVR - Mike & Molly, Happy Endings
What we watched "live" - Amazing Race
What we PVR'd for later - Desperate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters

Thoughts:

Mike & Molly: Samuel gets fired because of Carl, Mike has to put him up for a while.  The arrangement doesn't work out well (shocker!), and Mike pays the diner owner 20 bucks a week to hire Samuel back with the 20/week raise.

Happy Endings: Scrubs reunion as Mike Mosley is the squatter in the ceiling.  Brad is able to get back at Jane's meddling, with their new friends who want Jane for a 3-some.  Dave is a sleepwalker/dancer/singer.

Amazing Race: Darn, the cowboys are gone.  How much cheese fondue can you eat?  Jeez, two scoops and I would have been out.  Not terribly tough challenges this time, is there?

What we watched from PVR - Nothing
What we watched "live" - Bruins Habs Game 5
What we PVR'd for later - Nothing

Thoughts:

Bruins-Habs:  Oh Yeah!  Shipping up to Boston.  Sweet!  Bruins in 6!

Saturday 23 April 2011

Friday, April 22nd

What we watched from PVR - Bones, Desperate Housewives, Brother & Sisters, Mad Love
What we watched "live" - Nothing
What we PVR'd for later - Fringe

Thoughts:

Bones: Butterflies can be gross!  The chuppacabra mention always sends me back to old X-Files episodes.  The Jeffersonian has a sound library, who knew?  From nearly the start I knew who the killers were, just not how they did it.

DH: I figured when they showed the dialysis buddy in the "previously on", that he would play a part, and he did for Susan, he died..  Carlos was told about Andrew killing his Mom, and understandable lost it.  I'm surprised Gabby is allowed in the house!  A $100,000 signing bonus?  Really?  He was unemployed a couple of years ago!

B&S: Luc and the showing, and Sarah almost sold the house.  Oops.  Michelle has a baby, and it's likely Kev and Scotty's.  Oops again.  Brody turns out to have lied about his blood type and Sarah may be his.  So he leaves, and Nora has a broken heart.  No Kitty this episode.

Mad Love: Bar trivia, realized I was a nerd when I rhymed off what HTML stood for...  The girls go spa-ing, and it's all about looking young.  Team Sha-Boom likely win the bar trivia...

What we watched from PVR - Nothing
What we watched "live" - Boston-Montreal, Game 4
What we PVR'd for later - Paul Reiser, Bones

Thoughts:

Game: Holy shit, that was awesome.  Ryder has now earned his money in my book.  Bruins in 6.

Wednesday, April 20th

What we watched from PVR - Nothing
What we watched "live" - Survivor, Modern Family
What we PVR'd for later - Body of Proof , Happy Endings X2

Thoughts:

Survivor: Dammit, David goes home.  Julie joins RI, but Phillip is still bat-shit crazy, and now brings race into it?  Send his arse home!

Modern Family:  Fantastic.  This show is all that's right with tv.  Who will look after Lilly if the boys die.  It was hilarious, heart-warming, and pure gold.

Wednesday 20 April 2011

Tuesday, April 19th

What we watched from PVR - Fringe
What we watched "live" - Glee, Raising Hope
What we PVR'd for later - Body of Proof, Parenthood

Thoughts:

Fringe: LSD episode, Broyles tripping was hilarious!  I laughed so much!  The comic drawing of the show was pretty good, but distracting.  I guess Belley is finally gone, but the guy with the Celtic cross shirt is the guy that will kill Olivia.  Hmmm.

Glee:  Good performance show, I hope Holly is gone for a while, not a fan.  Stamos is gone too, so now is the chance for Shue's hookup!  You know the ex will cause some kind of havoc to ruin that though.  Brit as a cat disease expert...okay, I'll buy that.  Santana threatening to kick nuts?  Perfect.

Raising Hope: Jerry Van Dyke cracks me up, he doesn't even have to say a word.  The new hottie Zoe?  Definite keeper.  Sabrina will never leave college moron, so why not?  Burt's so why wouldn't you come to me for the fifty cents, and the mind cheat with the dry cleaner was fantastic.

Tuesday 19 April 2011

Monday, April 18th

What we watched from PVR - Nothing
What we watched "live" - Bruins vs. Habs, Game 3
What we PVR'd for later - HIMYM, Mad Love, Mike & Molly, Cougar Town, Hawaii 5-0

Thoughts:

Bruins-Habs: PVR'd a lot for this so it had better be good...and it was.  Chara was his mean old self, Krejci was dangling, and team defence was key.  Price was beatable, and the 4-2 score for the Bruins will hopefully be what the series ends at too!!

Monday 18 April 2011

Sunday, April 17th

What we watched from PVR - Body of Proof, Paul Reiser Show
What we watched "live" - Amazing Race
What we PVR'd for later - Desperate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters

Thoughts:

Body of Proof:  Really like this show and hope it makes the renewal cut.  This episode we see the daughter visit the morgue for her school project, while at the same time we are putting back together the pieces of a construction worker.  Funny that it ended up being the super...Thought for sure it was the son-in-law.  Lacey's video was well done and insightful.  They say she is 12, even though 15 IRL.

Paul Reiser Show:  This show was really good!  Some great LOL moments, and lots of cameos, Mark Burnett, Larry David, and more.  The contestants on the game show were priceless!  When Habib glued himself to the car, ha!

Amazing Race: Another non-elimination show!  Jeez, it's like every other week!  That eating competition was way too much, no team could ever do that.  Kent is such a whiner, Vyx should just punch him out.  The cowboys always find a way to not finish last.  Still my pick for winners.

Sunday 17 April 2011

Saturday, April 16th

What we watched from PVR - Happy Endings X2
What we watched "live" - Bruins & Habs Game 2
What we PVR'd for later - Nothing

Thoughts:

Bruins-Habs:  Son of a b!t$#, Bruins win a game would ya?  Man, Chara better be better for Game 3.  Bruins in 6?

Happy Endings X2:  Not a great show, but for a first two episodes, it was okay...The girl from Scrubs is still hot, and Wayans JR is funny.  The straight gay friend is different, but I'll keep watching.

Friday, April 15th

What we watched from PVR - Brothers & Sisters, Parenthood, Modern Family
What we watched "live" - Nothings
What we PVR'd for later - Fringe

Thoughts:

B&S: 2 hours!  Well, it was really two one hour shows shown back to back.  Brody is now in the picture, and Olivia's brother appears out of nowhere.  Kev and Scotty deal with the brother, and Olivia lets it be known she wants to stay with the guys.  Kitty tries to win back Seth, and that works out too.  Luc and Sarah move toward a wedding, but a funeral comes first as Nanna dies.  Marion Ross.

Parenthood:  Pocket dialing your parents while having sex, could it be any worse?  Crosby has a house, and needs a lot of Joel help, but not a lot of money.  Sarah's play moves forward even with Amber spiraling into druggie hell.

Modern Family:  The play that Cam built.  We love the "f" word!  Phil's van with the wraparound ad succeeds for all the wrong reasons.  Claire and Haley are displayed in provocative poses with suggestive type.  Sex sells!

Thursday, April 14th

What we watched from PVR - Nothing
What we watched "live" - Bruins & Habs Game 1
What we PVR'd for later - Paul Reiser Show, Bones

Thoughts:

I knew Carey Price would steal a game this series, I didn't want it to be game one!  Brad Marchand was like a little waterbug out there.  31 shots that Carey Price was able to see all the way will not get it done.

Thursday 14 April 2011

Wednesday, April 13th

What we watched from PVR - Nothing
What we watched "live" - Survivor
What we PVR'd for later - Modern Family, Happy Endings X 2

Thoughts:

Survivor: Two Councils, David and Mike both heading to Redemption Island, will they just stockpile the voted out people there, or will there be a three person duel (threel?) to start next week's show.  Phillip is bat-shit crazy.  Rob needs to be taken down and I think it will be Grant who does it...

Tuesday, April 12th

What we watched from PVR - Off The Map, Hawaii 5-0
What we watched "live" - Nothing
What we PVR'd for later - Body of Proof, Parenthood

Thoughts:

Off The Map: Great episode, the burnt hands guy, it's like he was praying, and the kid brought in on that float/religious thing was a little over the top...We find out the praying guy was trying to stop cops from burning cocaine fields, and Brenner runs to find Matteo shot and lying in the field.  Fuller telling Minard he loves her, Clark missing the heart transplant because it wasn't viable...drama!

H5-0: No sight of Agent Kaye tonight, but she was mentioned.  Danny and Steve go hiking and find a dead body.  Steve falls and breaks his arm, Kim and Kono's auntie dies, so now the truth about Chin's police dismissal will be told.  James Kyson-Lee from Heroes was great to see!

Tuesday 12 April 2011

Monday, April 11th

What we watched from PVR - Parenthood
What we watched "live" - How I Met Your Mother, Mad Love, Mike & Molly
What we PVR'd for later - Hawaii 5-0

Thoughts:

Parenthood: Prom night, good times!  Hattie with the loss of virginity, Amber with the melt-down, Crosby buys a house, Adam does the right thing, and Julia has a breakdown and Joel always knows the right thing to say.

HIMYM: The beginning of the end for the Zoey relationship, Lilly gets mad at Marshall through Ted, but Marshall makes the right decision, and Lilly never has to get mad at Marshall directly.  Exploding meatball sub?

Mad Love: The return of the cop boyfriend.  It doesn't last long, as it seems we are moving towards the Connie-Larry hook-up.  Kate is no good as a dog sitter, but that doesn't mean she won't be a good Mom, right...right?

Mike & Molly: Take me out to the ballgame, Cubbies game, Mike has to will power past beer, hot dogs, and other temptations.  Molly has a breakdown at the game about her Dad, Carl also has a breakdown, and yep, Mike too.  The Cubs lost.

Monday 11 April 2011

Sunday, April 10th

What we watched from PVR - Body of Proof, Mr. Sunshine
What we watched "live" - The Amazing Race
What we PVR'd for later - Brothers & Sisters

Thoughts:

BoP: This show is really coming together nicely.  Getting used to all the cast and their individual quirks.  I thought they were about to pin it on the father in back-to-back episodes, but instead it was the cocaine-using mother, and she gave a great acting performance too!

Mr. Sunshine: Lizzy Caplan!  Love her.  The Class was one of those shows that should not have been canceled.  Anyway, good back and forth between Ben and Vivian, but alas, Vivian had to go.

Amazing Race:  I wasn't a fan of Ron, so it was okay that they went away.  Vix in the Ganges, Kent upset at her.  The cowboys manage to come back from the brink of elimination again.  I think the cowboys may win this!

What we watched "live" - Big Bang Theory, Rules of Engagement, Bones
What we PVR'd for later - Nothing

Thoughts:

Big Bang Theory: Amy and Sheldon had sex, well no, not really, but Amy's pregnant, well no, not really.  Howard and Bernadette get engaged, yes, really. Raj is crushed.

RoE: The baby is in the oven!  Brenda becomes the pregnant annoyance, and Jeff and Audrey try to avoid her as much as possible.  A few small pieces of Russell and Timmy's cut-out characters and Adam's duh-ness.

Bones: Really, a body farm?  Is that even real?  If it is, it's disgusting!  The foot guy from Canada, I'm not sure what the point was of having him there, or even having him be Canadian.  $2000 sneakers, really?  I cringe paying over a hundred!

What we watched from PVR - Nothing
What we watched "live" - Survivor, Republic of Doyle
What we PVR'd for later - Mr. Sunshine, Off The Map, Parenthood

Thoughts:

Survivor: Poor Matt, off Redemption Island, and back on it as quick.  The merge happened and Rob is still playing everyone like a flute.  Rooster wasted the Idol because of Rob's puppeteering.

RoD: Season Finale, Paul Gross was alright, Tinny leaving (the show?), Mal retiring?, Jake now an RNC, the constable fired, and Jake is to blame.  No more until January 2012, are you freakin' kidding me?

What we watched "live" - Nothing
What we PVR'd for later - Nothing

Thoughts:

BoP:  Really liking this show, not sure why they are force-feeding us three episodes in a week though.  I'm glad they played out the story the way they did with the father being the killer, but the bar owner was a total tool, and just an unnecessary sideline.

Monday 4 April 2011

Sunday, April 3rd

What we watched from PVR - Nothing
What we watched "live" - Desperate Housewives
What we PVR'd for later - Body of Proof

Thoughts:

Desperate Housewives: Tom gets a new job thanks to Lynette, Gabby bonds with Renee, Paul actually lets Susan have his wives' kidney, Andrew and Bree go to AA, Andrew's husband leaves him, Felicia uses her daughter's suicide to get out of prison.  She's evil.  Worse than Paul.

Saturday, April 2nd

What we watched from PVR - Mr. Sunshine, Private Practice, Eclipse (Movie)
What we watched "live" - Nothing
What we PVR'd for later - The Other Guys (Movie)

Thoughts:

Mr. Sunshine: At some point wouldn't you just go look at the e-mails you sent?  Instead of playing this Jack Tripper routine?  Anyway, we got to see Hurley for a few minutes again.  I miss Lost.

Private Practice: This episode was going to bore me, I knew it from the preview, I am not a Dr. Pete fan.  One of the teens was Karen from Shameless, she's 22, but looks so young.

Eclipse: Don't judge me, but this movie was terrible.

Saturday 2 April 2011

Friday, April 1st

What we watched from PVR - Mad Love, Parenthood, Body of Proof, Off The Map
What we watched "live" - Noting
What we PVR'd for later - Nothing

Thoughts:

Mad Love: Still like this show a lot, the car trip thing is a bit overplayed, but the cheap motel scenes were hilarious!

Parenthood: Fantastic episode.  Dreyfuss was a bit wasted in the guest spot, but we will likely see him again.  The Julia-Amber scene was well done.  The Julia-Joel scene was one of the best scenes ever.  Jasmine is leaving Crosby for good, I guess.  The super-hot Minka Kelly was on too!

Body of Proof: First episode, and I liked it.  Dana Delaney is such a good actress, and the supporting cast are mostly unknowns so it should do really well.  Every time I saw the cop I still see him as Drew's brother, though.

Off The Map:  Terrific Charlie episode.  Clark will eventually get Keeton's wive's heart, that is the way it has to be.  The parachute accident with the hand in the guts was pretty gross, but well done.

Friday 1 April 2011

Thursday, March 31st

What we watched from PVR - Nothing
What we watched "live" - Big Bang Theory, Rules of Engagement, Grey's Anatomy
What we PVR'd for later - Private Practice

Thoughts:

Big Bang Theory: I've never played WoW, but I'm sure Sheldon was devastated by losing all his "stuff" and it was funny that Penny actually knew more about it than Raj's sister.

RoE: Timmy's sister is hot, of course.  Andy from According to Jim gets hooked up with Liz.  Good, maybe we won't see her anymore.  Adam at the kid's gym was creepy, but hilarious.

Grey's Anatomy:  Or was it Glee's Anatomy.  It was good no matter which way, and I think Chief and Derek were the only non-singers.  I really thought they were going to lose the baby, and Addy back for such a small bit was disappointing, but there may be more to that.
